Are there any additional fees after filing the trademark application?
Only if the trademark is NOT currently being used in U.S. commerce. The USPTO charges a $150 fee per class for a "Statement of Use" filing to prove that you are using your trademark. You will have 6 months after publication to provide this and submit the filing fee, or file for another extension.
Do I need a logo for my trademark?
No, you do not need a logo for your trademark. However, filing a logo may be recommended in some cases.
What kind of information do you need from me?
To file your application, you must provide your trademark name/logo, owner contact information, and full list of goods or services that you are providing, or plan to provide, under your trademark.
How long will it take for my trademark to register with the USPTO?
The average wait time is about 8 months. I will provide updates about your trademark status, and if any additional filings are required.
