Developmental Editing is an in-depth look at story concept, character arcs, and plot. In contrast, Structural Editing focuses on pacing, characters, setting, theme, and writing style. I will do both a developmental and structural edit on your book.

Your word count, the level of editing you've already done on your book (have you had beta readers? Already hired an editor? Is this the first time your book has seen the light of day?), and whether you're planning to self publish or traditionally publish.

An editorial letter is sometimes called a manuscript evaluation. This is a document which addresses the big-picture items of your manuscript like character arcs, pacing, theme, and narratives.

If your prologue and your first chapter combined are under 3500 words, feel free to send them both. If they are too long when combined, then please only send your first chapter, not your prologue. This is because the prologue is an intro to the world, where a first chapter is an intro to the plot.
