Ghostwriter

Aug 2026 - Present0 mos

Partnered with entrepreneurs, coaches, and executives to turn raw material recorded interviews, voice notes, and rough outlines, into complete, publish ready nonfiction books. Most clients came in with a clear sense of the message they wanted to share but no experience translating that into a structured manuscript, so the first stage of every project was diagnostic: listening closely to hours of interview material, identifying the throughline of their argument or story, and building an outline that organized their ideas into a logical, compelling sequence before a single chapter was drafted. From there, I wrote full chapters that captured each client's professional expertise and personal voice simultaneously — a balance that mattered most for founder and executive clients, who needed a book that read as credible and authoritative without losing the personality that made their perspective distinct. I worked in close contact with each client throughout drafting, sharing chapters as they were completed rather than waiting until a full manuscript was done, so their feedback could shape later chapters and keep the project moving efficiently within a tight timeline. Revisions focused on tightening arguments, smoothing transitions between chapters, and making sure technical or industry specific concepts were explained clearly for a general business audience. By the project's end, each client had a finished manuscript ready for the next step in their publishing path, along with a clearer sense of how their ideas translated into a structured, marketable book. This role built my ability to manage a full ghostwriting project end to end, from raw interview material to finished manuscript under compressed timelines and high client expectations.

Content Writer

Jun 2026 - Present2 mos

Produced long form content for small and mid sized businesses across finance, health, and technology, working directly from client briefs and existing content calendars to keep output aligned with broader marketing goals. Each piece, whether a blog post, a page of website copy, a newsletter, or a lead magnet started with research into the client's industry, competitors, and target audience before any writing began, so the final content spoke directly to the reader it was meant for rather than reading as generic filler. Blog posts were built around actual search intent: identifying what questions readers were typing into Google, then structuring headers, subheadings, and body copy to answer those questions clearly while naturally incorporating relevant keywords without forcing them in. Website copy required a different register, tighter, more persuasive, focused on guiding a visitor toward a specific action, whether that was booking a call, signing up for a newsletter, or making a purchase. Newsletters and lead magnets leaned more conversational, designed to build a relationship with an existing audience rather than convert a cold one. Throughout the engagement, I worked within established content calendars, meeting regular deadlines while keeping tone and messaging consistent across every piece for a given client, something that mattered more as the volume of content grew, since a scattered voice across a business's blog or site quickly undermines reader trust. This role sharpened my research process, my ability to write for search engines and human readers at the same time, and my comfort adapting tone across finance, health, and technology, three fields with very different audiences and very different expectations for how information should be delivered.

Memoir Ghostwriter

May 2026 - Present3 mos

Worked one on one with clients to turn their personal histories into fully realized, publish ready memoirs. The process began with in depth interviews, sometimes over several sessions, to draw out not just the key events of a client's life, but the emotional texture, the small details, and the voice that made their story distinctly theirs. From there, I organized scattered memories and timelines into a coherent narrative arc, identifying which moments deserved a full chapter and which worked better as connective tissue between bigger turning points. Each project moved through structured drafting stages: an outline the client could approve before any chapters were written, followed by chapter drafts delivered in batches so feedback could shape the direction of the book early rather than after the fact. I paid close attention to preserving each client's natural speech patterns and phrasing during editing, since a memoir succeeds or fails on whether it sounds like the person who lived it, not like a ghostwriter's own style. Revisions were collaborative and iterative: clients read each draft, flagged what felt off or incomplete, and I refined pacing, tightened chapters, and reworked transitions until the manuscript read as a finished, cohesive book rather than a collection of interview transcripts. By the end of each engagement, clients had a complete, polished manuscript ready for the next step, whether that meant self publishing through Kindle Direct Publishing, sending it to family and friends, or pursuing traditional publishing routes. This work sharpened my ability to build trust quickly with clients sharing sensitive personal material, manage long form projects with many moving parts, and consistently deliver a finished product that felt authentically theirs.
