Built real-time chat from scratch using Pusher, covering group messaging, read receipts, and message editing, eliminating the previous polling approach entirely. Integrated 5+ external APIs including RapidAPI and Zoom for live classes. Implemented role-based access control, attendance tracking, assessments, and payment modules. Refactored legacy code, introduced unit and integration tests, and cut backend response times noticeably.
