FAQ
What genres do you work with?
I work with a wide range of fiction and nonfiction genres, including fantasy, science fiction, romance, mystery, thriller, horror, memoirs, biographies, self-help, business, and more. If you’re unsure whether your manuscript fits, feel free to message me first.
What’s the difference between alpha reading and beta reading?
Alpha reading focuses on early drafts and gives guidance while the story is still being developed. Beta reading is done on a more complete manuscript, offering feedback from a reader’s perspective before publication.
Do you provide editing or proofreading services?
This gig is focused on beta reading and manuscript critique. While I do offer proofreading and editing services on my profile, they are not included in this package unless arranged separately.
Can I send a sample before placing an order?
Yes, you can send a short sample of your manuscript. This helps me understand your writing and ensures we’re a good fit before you place an order.
How detailed is your feedback?
My feedback is clear, structured, and detailed. I cover plot, pacing, characters, clarity, tone, and overall readability, along with practical suggestions to help improve your manuscript.
