As a Laravel API Backend Developer i was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable RESTful APIs using the Laravel framework. My duties include implementing CRUD operations, managing databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, writing optimized queries with Eloquent ORM, and ensuring proper authentication and authorization using tools like Laravel Sanctum or JWT. Focus on application security by applying validation rules, preventing common vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and XSS, and implementing rate limiting. Additionally, i integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, SMS, and email APIs, optimize performance through caching and query improvements, and conduct unit and feature testing to ensure system reliability. The role also involves preparing clear API documentation, deploying applications to production servers, monitoring logs, fixing bugs, and collaborating with frontend developers within a version-controlled and Agile development environment.
