As a professional harp instructor, my goal is to inspire each student to develop a deep appreciation for the harp through a balance of theoretical understanding and hands-on practice. My teaching approach is highly flexible, tailored to each student’s unique learning style and goals. Drawing on my background in the Suzuki method—particularly effective for younger learners—I strive to make lessons enjoyable and memorable, helping students progress naturally and confidently. I teach on both pedal and Celtic harps, providing customized programs for beginners, children, and advanced students alike.

Live Harp Performance - "Cialoma [sha-lo-ma]

As solo harpist, I performed at the Archaeological Park of Selinunte in the concert “Cialoma”, an event dedicated to celebrating the cultural identity of Sicily and Southern Italy. The project, conceived and realized together with Baldo Martino, brought together historical repertoire and newly composed works by young composers from the Conservatory of Palermo. This collaboration originated during my research Master at The Hague and was first presented as part of my final Master’s project with the creation of Sikelia, a three-movement composition narrating the history of Sicily through three key periods: the Hellenic era, the Arab-Norman period, and the end of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies leading to the Italian unification. My role in Cialoma involved performing both as a soloist and within an ensemble, interpreting works by Caramiello, Bellotta and Pasculli while premiering contemporary compositions that continue the creative dialogue initiated in Sikelia. The performance offered an immersive experience where tradition and innovation met in a historically significant setting, merging artistic expression with cultural heritage.

Performed as the featured harpist in the live concert “L’eco dal Popolo,” an event that celebrated cultural heritage and the fusion of traditional and contemporary musical influences in a unique setting. The performance took place at the historic Archaeological Park, providing an atmospheric backdrop that enhanced the concert’s immersive experience. Developed a program that intertwined classic harp techniques with innovative soundscapes, aimed at evoking both historical echoes and modern resonances. Curated a repertoire that resonated with the audience’s diverse musical tastes while preserving the artistic integrity of the instrument. Delivered a captivating live performance that engaged a diverse audience, inviting them to explore the interplay between ancient traditions and contemporary artistic expressions. Adapted dynamically to the venue’s acoustics, ensuring a balanced and immersive sound experience. Collaborated with cultural organizations and event coordinators to produce an event that underscored the importance of arts in public spaces. The concert fostered community engagement and contributed to the promotion of cultural heritage in a modern context. This experience not only enriched my performance portfolio but also deepened my commitment to exploring and celebrating the intersections of history, art, and community engagement through live music.
