GAIN_LINE

Senior Front-end Developer

GAIN LINE • Temps plein

Mar 2014 - Jul 2026 • 12 yrs 4 mos

Over 12 years as Senior Front-End Developer at GAIN LINE, I worked as both the agency's UI designer and a lead front-end developer, taking client projects from discovery and wireframes right through to launch and ongoing support. I delivered the full range of WordPress builds, from brochure sites to large multisite networks and WooCommerce stores, including custom Gutenberg block themes, blocks and plugins. I built design systems that carried a single source of truth from Figma to the live site, and I delivered WCAG-compliant websites from A to AAA, both as new builds and as upgrades to existing sites. I also owned performance optimisation, improving Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed scores through code restructuring, caching, CDN delivery and image optimisation. My clients ranged from small independents to multi-million-pound organisations, and I mentored junior developers along the way.
