Worked on a major utility infrastructure project for ORES (Belgium) involving electrical, gas, and telecommunications networks. Processed and managed CAD-to-GIS converted data (.gdb) for use in ArcGIS Pro. Performed GIS data enrichment, adding and validating attributes for: Electrical networks (low & medium voltage, public lighting) Telecommunications (fibre optic network) Gas networks (low & medium pressure pipelines) Applied and mastered 400+ client-specific data rules, ensuring compliance with ORES standards. Detected, analysed, and corrected geometry errors originating from CAD source data as well as attribute errors introduced during GIS data enrichment, using ArcGIS Pro. Conducted thorough quality control on GIS datasets before delivery to the client. Supported GIS technicians by troubleshooting complex cases, clarifying rules, and resolving data inconsistencies. Assisted in training and onboarding new team members, explaining enrichment workflows, QC procedures, and project standards. Promoted from GIS Technician to Assistant GIS Supervisor within 4 months based on attention to detail, critical and analytical thinking, and high-quality deliverables. Balanced data production, quality assurance, and supervisory support in a high-volume production environment.
