What Daw do you use to produce music?
I use Ableton Live (the latest version), personally to work on melodies and percussions it is more practical than others, also my workflow is faster in this Daw.
Use references to produce music?
Of course, in cases where the client asks me to produce the musical style of an artist or a record label.
For track mixing, what plugins do you use to sound professional?
I use semi-parametric equalizers (Api 560, Ar TG mastering), compressors (CLA compressors), spectrum is essential to analyze and achieve a professional sound (Voxengo SPAN) and waveform display (exoscope).
For track mastering, do you use limiters to reach high volume levels?
No, in none of my projects do I use limiters, since they aggressively compress the sound and lose the punch and clarity of the track automatically, my way of mastering a track is using the technique of digital clipping or mastering compression, thus avoiding the presence of distortion.
Do you record voices or any musical instrument?
No, for now I don't record vocals and musical instruments, but my alternative is to use samples.
