I've been using photoshop since I was 14 y/o. I started off by making vector copies of my favorite cartoon characters and musicians, and then I eventually branched off into making clothes, cover-art, and simple logos.
As of right now I'm using what I've learned through my graphic design work to help me create merch and small content pieces to help promote different products, events, and brands.
