i've been building 3D models in blender for 3 years using retopology or 3d image tracing, i can do low-poly models even reaching as low as ~900 tri for a light aircraft. details scale by payment, which is a fancy way of saying if you get me closer to buying a gpu, i'll make your models look better. if you want, i can show some samples, though i'd have to put it through an image scrubber
