Designed and developed a complete Ancient Frost Warden boss for a custom Minecraft RPG server, delivering a production ready Blockbench model, custom textures, rigging, and animation pipeline from concept to final implementation. This project combined professional Blockbench modeling, Minecraft entity creation, low poly 3D modeling, voxel art, pixel art texturing, Minecraft animation, and game asset optimization to create a unique boss encounter that fit seamlessly into a custom fantasy world. PROJECT SCOPE • Designed a highly detailed Blockbench 3D model standing over nine blocks tall while maintaining Minecraft's iconic voxel style and optimized geometry. • Sculpted custom armor, crystal formations, frozen stone details, glowing runes, oversized weapons, and environmental elements to create a memorable fantasy boss with a distinct silhouette. • Produced high quality pixel art textures featuring layered ice patterns, weathered stone, glowing crystals, frost effects, and hand painted details optimized for Minecraft resource compatibility. • Built a complete skeletal rig with properly organized bone hierarchies for professional Blockbench animation and future content expansion. • Created multiple custom animations including idle, walking, sprinting, heavy attack, crystal smash, roar, damage reaction, death sequence, and special ability casting. • Exported the completed project as a Minecraft Bedrock Entity JSON with organized source files for seamless integration into the client's Minecraft project. CHALLENGES SOLVED The client wanted a boss that immediately felt powerful without sacrificing Minecraft performance. Several production iterations focused on improving body proportions, increasing armor depth, redesigning crystal formations, refining the weapon silhouette, and balancing visual detail with efficient polygon usage.
