I'm GregVK, a singer/songwriter from Johannesburg, South Africa.
I've been writing songs since 2010. I'm here to help you turn your ideas into songs! I specialise in folk, singer/songwriter and rock music, but I'm experienced in most genres.

Vocal usage rights are available in all packages except basic

FAQ
Does the price include written backing music?
No, but if you need instrumental work I'll be happy to provide a custom quote. I have a variety of options! Message me to find out more.
Who gets ownership of the copyright?
With any purchase, you'll automatically own the master rights. For composition rights, I offer 3 packages: Standard Song Split. Commercial Rights Transfer. Work For Hire Agreement. Message me for more info!
Can I release the song if I don't buy the commercial rights extra?
Absolutely. You'll still have the right to release and perform the song wherever you like. You also have the first-use license, which means that nobody can cover or release the song (including me) until you've released it.
Will I have to pay you royalties for downloads and streams of the song?
No. You'll only have to pay the order fee. BMI will collect my royalties directly from the platforms you've published the song on. You'll need to credit and notify me when you upload the song, get it placed in other media such as film or tv, and if you sign to a label.
What counts as a revision?
A revision is an adjustment to details you aren't satisfied with. It doesn't include work based on information we haven't discussed in the initial brief/consult. However, you are welcome to request out-of-scope revisions which I'll be happy to quote you for.
Are there limitations to revisions?
Your free revision doesn't include adjustments based on new information. The order is based on the info you provide before and during the gig requirements phase. If you want to change something about the info you've given me, please make sure I have it at least a week before the delivery date.
Can I release the song with your voice?
I charge a vocal session fee if you want to use my voice when you release the song. In this case, I provide professionally edited vocal stems with and without my vocal effects chain.
