I currently lead the Google Business Profile (GMB) & Local SEO department, managing and optimizing over 1,200+ active business listings across multiple service-based industries. My role involves planning, executing, and overseeing end-to-end GBP strategies focused on Google Maps visibility, local rankings, engagement, and lead generation. I manage and train a 14 member team, ensuring consistent execution of optimization tasks including categories, services, business descriptions, posts, images, reviews, and compliance with Google’s policies. I regularly perform in-depth audits, analyze ranking fluctuations, diagnose visibility drops, and implement corrective actions to improve Maps performance. In addition to execution, I develop SOPs, workflows, and QA processes that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Through these improvements, I’ve helped increase operational efficiency by 40%+ while maintaining listing safety and long-term ranking stability. I work closely with content teams, developers, and customer support to align local SEO efforts with business goals. I also provide clear reporting and explanations to clients, helping them understand what’s working, what’s changing, and how their GBP presence translates into real-world results such as calls and direction requests. This hands-on, data-driven experience allows me to deliver policy-safe, sustainable Google Maps growth for both individual businesses and agencies.
