Town Planner | Lahore Development Authority (LDA) I Worked full-time for six months at the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), gaining practical experience in urban planning, land-use monitoring, master plan compliance, and Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping. My primary responsibilities involved identifying existing land uses that were inconsistent with the approved Lahore Master Plan and assisting in monitoring compliance with established land-use regulations. This included identifying unauthorized or non-compliant land uses, documenting violations, and supporting the process of marking properties and sites that were being used contrary to approved planning provisions. I was also involved in preparing and issuing notices and challans to individuals, businesses, or property owners whose land uses violated the applicable planning regulations. These activities contributed to development control, regulatory enforcement, and the implementation of the city's approved planning framework. In addition to land-use monitoring, I worked on GIS mapping to support spatial analysis, land-use identification, and urban planning activities. This involved using geographic information and mapping techniques to assist in identifying locations, analyzing existing land-use patterns, and supporting planning-related assessments. This experience enhanced my understanding of urban development regulations, master plan implementation, land-use control, GIS-based spatial analysis, and development monitoring. It also provided valuable insight into the practical challenges of managing urban growth while ensuring that land development remains consistent with approved planning policies and regulatory requirements.

Ltd., contributing to a large-scale district-level planning project focused on preparing land-use classification maps and master planning studies for districts across Punjab, Pakistan. My primary responsibilities included conducting field-based land-use surveys, collecting spatial data, analyzing existing land-use patterns, and preparing GIS maps to support district-level planning and future development decisions. I worked in four districts: Gujrat, Mianwali, Khushab, and Sargodha, where I participated in field surveys to identify, assess, and classify existing land uses.
