During my On-the-Job Training as a Civil Engineering intern at ED1SON Construction and Development, Inc., I was given the opportunity to observe and assist in actual site operations, which helped me understand how classroom concepts are applied in real projects. As a graduating student, I assisted site engineers in monitoring daily activities, checking work progress, preparing simple quantity take-offs and cost estimates, and organizing project documents. I also observed inspections, material deliveries, and safety practices on site. This experience allowed me to gain practical knowledge in reading plans, coordinating with workers, and understanding construction workflows, while improving my communication and teamwork skills in a professional environment.
