FAQ
What services are included in this all-in-one gig?
This gig covers complete book editing, proofreading, and interior formatting. I refine your grammar, spelling, sentence flow, and tone, while simultaneously designing a professional interior layout for both digital eBooks and print paperbacks.
What file formats will I receive upon completion?
You will receive a Tracked Changes Word document (showing all edits), a Clean Word document, a print-ready PDF file (for Paperback/Hardcover), and an EPUB or KPF file (for Kindle/eBook readers).
Will your formatting pass Amazon KDP and IngramSpark requirements?
Yes! I guarantee 100% approval on Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Lulu, and Barnes & Noble. If any platform flags a margin, bleed, or layout issue, I will adjust it immediately free of charge.
Do you preserve my original voice during editing?
Absolutely. My goal is to polish line flow, grammar, and readability while strictly preserving your unique authorial style and narrative tone. You maintain 100% creative control.
How do you handle manuscripts over 40,000 words?
If your manuscript is over 40,000 words, send me a direct message with your total word count, book dimensions (trim size), and preferred timeline. I will send you a tailored custom offer!
What trim sizes do you format for print books?
I format for all standard industry trim sizes, including 6x9 in, 5.5x8.5 in, 5x8 in, 8.5x11 in, and custom layouts based on your chosen publishing platform.
Does the eBook format include a Clickable Table of Contents (TOC)?
Yes! Every eBook format includes a fully hyperlinked, clickable Table of Contents so readers can navigate easily between chapters on Kindle or mobile devices.
Do you use automated software or AI to edit my manuscript?
No. I provide a 100% human-led review of your manuscript. Automated tools fail to capture context, emotion, tone, and formatting layout requirements.
Is my manuscript completely confidential?
Yes, 100%. Your intellectual property, book ideas, and personal details remain completely secure and confidential. All copyrights stay strictly with you.
