I spent 20+ years in hands-on IT. I was lead computer tech at an auto assembly plant, running a four-person crew that kept 200+ office PCs and 300+ production-floor machines going. I was also a web hosting sysadmin and ran my own computer repair business. Now I build AI tools: Claude skills, prompt packs, AI guides, and conversions of Custom GPTs into Claude skills. I work like a technician. I find the real problem, fix it, and check it before I hand it over.

I started with a homemade loop detector made from copper wire, nails and a board to trigger the reader, then scaled it to full plant-wide implementation, making our plant the model site. - Administered 25+ SQL Server databases. - Set up and maintained Windows NT primary and backup domain controllers, trust relationships, users and groups. Ran TCP/IP, NetBEUI and IPX. - Installed and configured IBM, Bay Networks, Cisco, 3Com, HP and Olicom network equipment. Ran large Cat5e and fiber optic installs.

- Led a four-person PVT technician crew responsible for 500+ assets: 200+ office PCs and 300+ production-floor devices (printers, scanners, pressure monitors, End-of-Line dynamometers). - Repaired, calibrated and maintained computerized production equipment, including dynamometers, VIN stamp embossers and the VIN stamping machines for frame and motor, plus vision systems and paint-department unit controllers. - Ran the plant computer room as the sole technician on 10-12 hour shifts, keeping production running. - Maintained the computers of all plant managers and line foremen.
