Now comes the scary part: submitting your agent query.
I'm Jessica Ryn and I'm an agented, traditionally published author of two novels with HarperCollins, a professional editor, and a member of the EFA. I'm here to make sure that your agent query package stands out and really wows each literary agent you submit to.
You've worked so hard to write the story only YOU can tell. Let's work together to give it the best chance of being represented and published so that your book can find its way into your readers' hands and hearts.
I will provide:
- A full critique and edit of your cover letter
- A full critique and edit of your synopsis
- A full critique and edit of the first three chapters of your manuscript
- A developmental edit for the rest of your novel (optional)
- Hints and tips for agent query submissions
I currently work with fiction submissions only, and spaces fill up FAST so please send me a message first before ordering. :)

FAQ
What format will I receive my edits and agent query critique in?
I will send a tracked changes word document for each element you've requested as well as a clean document with changes made for the first 3 chapters (or 12k words).
Will you give me overall feedback on my submission?
Absolutely! In addition to providing full critique and edits on each requested element, I will also give you feedback on the cohesion and clarity of your whole MS, should you opt for the full MS edit.
What if I need a critique on more than the first 3 chapters?
No worries! Send me a message, and I'll create a custom order for you that fits your needs.
Do you provide full developmental edits or line edits?
Absolutely! Please check out my other gigs, or send me a message and I can work out a custom offer that suits your needs.
