FAQ
What software do you use to produce your beats?
I exclusively use Logic Pro X to produce all of my Lo-fi/Hip-Hop tracks. I Logic's internal sounds as well as some premium VST/AU libraries from EastWest.
What kind of experience do you have in producing Lo-fi/Hip/Hop instrumentals?
I've been making beats since 2007. I used to use the MPC 2000XL, sample jazz records and such. I have graduated to more complex tracks that incorporate retro synths and other elements. I no longer sample records, but rather compose original jazz pieces that I resample to create a lo-fi sound.
What kind of license will I receive?
You'll receive a non-exclusive, commercial sync license, which will grant you the right to publish your film, video, video game, podcast, or other multimedia project with my music in the background. You may monetize your content without paying any additional monies/royalties.
Can I use the music with Youtube videos?
Yes! You can certainly sync the music with your Youtube videos. You can run Ads too! {Music will be registered with Youtube's ContentID system)
Can I put the music on iTunes, Spotify, or other online retailers?
No! I'm offering a commercial sync license, not a mechanical license. You can add the music to a project of yours' but cannot sell the music or pass the license to others, unless of course you purchase the copyright to the soundtrack. Then, you can do whatever you'd like!
