Hello, I’m a drone product design specialist focused on taking UAV, FPV, VTOL, QUADCOPTER, HEXACOPTER, OCTOCOPTER OR CUSTOM DRONE concepts from the first sketch to a manufacturing ready product. I design frames, bodies, mounts, enclosures, payload systems and mechanical assemblies with real world production in mind. As a freelance drone product designer, I work with clients developing UAV, FPV, VTOL and custom drone products from early concepts through manufacturing preparation. I start by understanding the intended use, flight requirements, electronics, payload, dimensions and manufacturing method. I then develop the mechanical concept and 3D CAD, refine the design around component fit, weight, strength and accessibility, and prepare production-ready files. My work can include drone frames, arms, motor mounts, camera mounts, payload systems, enclosures, landing systems and complete mechanical assemblies. I solve design issues such as component interference, poor tolerances, weak structures, difficult assembly and designs that cannot be manufactured as intended. Depending on the project, I deliver STEP, STL, DXF, technical drawings and manufacturing-ready documentation.
