I’m a VBA developer, which basically means I create custom tools and automation inside Microsoft Office — mostly Excel, but sometimes Word, Outlook or Access too. I write macros and scripts that take boring, repetitive work off people’s plates. Things like: Automatically pulling in and cleaning up data instead of copy-pasting for hours Generating reports, dashboards or formatted outputs with one click Doing calculations, lookups, formatting, emailing results — all without anyone touching the keyboard over and over The goal is simple: save a huge amount of time, cut down on mistakes, and let people focus on the actual thinking and decision-making part of their job instead of clicking the same buttons 500 times a day.
