Fourteen years building backend systems in Java and Spring. Payment platforms at AT&T, enterprise automation at Macy's, and currently consulting on microservices at a Fortune 100 technology company. Most of my work has been inheriting production systems rather than starting clean: reading unfamiliar code fast, finding what is actually dangerous, and saying so plainly. I also built and run ETER (eterapp.com), a clinical data platform on Java and Google Cloud, in production with real physicians. I review backends and tell you what will break before it does.
