I will reverse engineer pcb and recreate schematic and design
PCB Designer KiCad, Altium and EAGLE
À propos de ce service
Have a PCB with no schematic, datasheet, or design files maybe from a discontinued product, legacy equipment, or a board you need to modify? I reverse engineer physical PCBs to recreate accurate schematics and layouts, so you can re-manufacture, repair, or improve your board.
What you'll get:
Careful tracing and analysis of your existing board (via photos or physical inspection)
Recreated schematic with identified component values and connections
Recreated PCB layout, ready for re-manufacturing (Standard/Premium)
Component footprint recreation for obsolete or unmarked parts
Optional design modifications or improvements to the original circuit
I use Altium Designer and KiCad to produce clean, accurate recreations so you're not stuck when a manufacturer discontinues support or original files are lost.
Not sure which package fits your project? Message me with photos of your board and your goal (repair, re-manufacture, or modify) before ordering, and I'll recommend the right package.
FAQ
Do you need the physical board, or can you work from photos?
High-resolution photos of both sides of the board (and close-ups of component markings) are often enough for simpler boards. Complex or densely populated boards may require the physical board shipped to me — let's discuss based on your specific board.
Can you guarantee 100% accuracy?
I aim for the highest possible accuracy, but some obsolete or unmarked components may require reasonable substitutions if original part numbers can't be identified. I'll flag any assumptions clearly.
Can you also improve/modify the design, not just recreate it?
Yes — let me know what changes or improvements you'd like, and I can incorporate them into the recreated design (see Premium package).
Is this legal?
Reverse engineering for personal repair, compatibility, or interoperability is generally acceptable, but I can't assist with recreating a board to infringe on active patents or violate licensing agreements. Please ensure you have the right to have this work done.
