Hi there! I'm Julian Buitrago and I'm a professional audio engineer. I have more than 12 years of experience in the industry of film & musical industry as a sound designer, dialogue editor and mixer engineer. I've had the pleasure to work with brands like BMW, Cadillac, Heineken, Canon, and many others.
Over the past years I've worked hundreds of featured films, short films, documentaries, TV shows and ads. I embrace every project as my own. My goal is to tell stories through sound. Senior sound designer and mixer at Red Diamond Studios.

I was expecting a richer soundtrack in terms of foley and sound design, but the delivery was a bit disappointing. However, I believe it was fair considering the budget/amount.

Julian was very nice and I felt bad that we weren't able to get this project over the line. Unfortunately I had assumed that Julian was more musical, but he is more of a sound effects artist. I'm sure for the right job, Julian would excel. Unfortunately he was not a fit for my project and we struggled...

The sound design was absolutely perfect! I had a few issues with sound on set with annoying cicada bugs and airplanes, and Julian was able to clean it up perfectly making the dialogue super strong. My film also needed a storm and footsteps in a warehouse, and Julian created the sounds and made it sound...

Really patient with revisions and easy to work with. He helped improve the track a lot and was open to feedback until we got closer to the sound I wanted. Solid experience overall.
