FAQ
What types of manuscripts do you work on?
I work on all genres and formats; novels, memoirs, nonfiction, self-help, devotionals, children's books, and more. If you've written it, I can edit and format it.
What's the difference between developmental editing and proofreading?
Developmental editing looks at the big picture, structure, pacing, plot, and clarity. Proofreading focuses on the finer details; grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency. I offer both so your manuscript is covered from start to finish.
Will you change my writing voice or style?
Never. My job is to strengthen your voice, not replace it. Every suggestion I make is aimed at making your writing clearer and more compelling while keeping it authentically yours.
What file formats do you accept and deliver?
I accept DOCX, PDF, and Google Docs. I deliver in DOCX, PDF, and EPUB depending on your publishing needs.
How long does the process take?
Turnaround depends on manuscript length and the package selected. I always deliver on time and keep you updated throughout the process. Message me with your word count for an accurate timeline.
Will my formatted book be accepted by Amazon KDP or IngramSpark on the first upload?
Absolutely. I format strictly to each platform's technical specifications — trim size, margins, bleed, and file requirements — to ensure first-upload approval.
Can I request revisions if I'm not satisfied?
Yes. I offer unlimited revisions until you are completely happy with the final result. Your satisfaction isn't just a promise — it's my standard.
