Hi, I'm Kaan. I'm in Toronto, and I came into software the long way around — I was running a flooring business, needed tools that didn't exist, so I started building them. That's still how I work. I want to understand the business before I write any code, because the right build usually isn't the one described in the brief. I say what I think, I'll tell you when something's a bad idea, and I don't go quiet mid-project.
