I develop and maintain Windows desktop software for retail: offline-first point of sale, inventory and reporting. My own POS product is in daily production use on a live counter: barcode scanning, ESC/POS receipt printing, cash drawer control, stock and expiry tracking, end-of-day reconciliation, offline SQLite, and a packaged installer with one-click updates. I specialise in the parts most web developers avoid: Electron apps that must run offline, hardware integration, Windows packaging and auto-update, and production data recovery. I build and maintain Karakaya Soft POS, an offline-first Windows point-of-sale application for small retail: Electron + SQLite, ESC/POS receipt printing, barcode scanning and cash drawer control, stock and expiry tracking, reporting, and end-of-day cash reconciliation. It is packaged with electron-builder and NSIS and updates itself in the field, so user data lives outside the app folder and every release is tested on a clean VM first. The app runs every day on a live shop counter.
