I will provide a opencv caliper measurement tool for machine vision

À propos de ce service
This Gig provides a reusable edge-based caliper component for industrial machine-vision projects in C#/.NET with OpenCvSharp. It is intended for edge localization and dimensional measurement inside a defined inspection region.
Basic: complete C# source code, example project, sample images, configurable parameters, and basic usage documentation.
Standard: complete component plus parameter adaptation and testing for one customer-provided image scenario.
Premium: project-specific adaptation and integration support for one C#/.NET application.
Please note:
This is a software component, not a complete inspection system.
Camera, PLC, robot, database, UI, or production-line integration is excluded unless explicitly agreed.
Performance depends on image size, parameters, runtime, and hardware. Any benchmark applies only to the stated test environment.
Revisions cover adjustments within the original scope. New features or changed requirements require a separate quote.
Source code may be used and modified in your own projects, but may not be redistributed, published, or resold as source code.
Please contact me before ordering Standard or Premium for special requirements.

FAQ
What exactly is included in the Basic package?
The Basic package includes the standard C# caliper component source code, an example project, sample images, and basic usage documentation. It provides the existing standard functionality shown in this Gig. Customer-specific modification or integration is not included.
Does the tool guarantee a specific measurement accuracy?
No fixed physical measurement accuracy is guaranteed. Actual accuracy depends on image resolution, optics, lighting, edge quality, calibration, mechanical stability, and parameter settings. Demonstration results and benchmark data are reference results under the stated test conditions.
Does the tool output measurements in millimeters?
The component primarily performs measurement in image coordinates. Conversion to physical units requires a valid pixel scale or camera calibration. Physical-unit measurement or calibration-related adaptation should be confirmed before ordering.
What is included in the Standard adaptation?
Standard includes parameter adaptation and testing for one customer-provided inspection scenario. It does not include development of a substantially different algorithm, complete application development, or additional inspection functions.
What does Premium integration support include?
Premium includes project-specific adaptation of the component and reasonable integration support for one existing C#/.NET application. Camera SDK integration, PLC/robot communication, database functions, complete UI development, or full production-system commissioning are not included unless explici
What counts as a revision?
A revision means a reasonable adjustment within the requirements originally agreed for the order. New features, additional application scenarios, changed requirements are outside the revision scope and may require a custom offer. No extra charge for bugs within the agreed-upon scope.
Can I use the source code in commercial projects?
Yes. You may modify, compile, and use the source code in your own internal or commercial applications, including applications delivered to your end clients. However, the source code or this component may not be redistributed, published, sublicensed, or resold as a standalone source-code product.
Is a specific processing speed guaranteed?
No hardware-independent processing time is guaranteed. Performance depends on CPU, image size, ROI size, runtime environment, build configuration, and processing parameters. Any published benchmark will include its corresponding test-platform configuration.
Should I contact you before ordering?
Basic can be ordered directly if the standard component matches your needs. For Standard or Premium, please contact me first with sample images, your expected measurement task, development environment, and integration requirements.
What development environment and dependencies are required?
The standard component is provided for C#/.NET and uses OpenCvSharp. The tested framework, OpenCvSharp version, target architecture, and operating environment will be specified in the product documentation. If your existing project uses a different .NET version, please contact me before ordering.
