Worked on live Google Ads client accounts as part of a Google Ads team. Assisted in building campaign structures, conducting keyword research, and setting up conversion tracking across real client briefs. Key work included: Keyword research and theming -downloaded keyword data from Google Keyword Planner, sorted and filtered by search volume, and built themed ad groups (brand, generic, competitor) for a local lead generation client. Campaign structure - worked on structuring Search campaigns with separate ad groups per keyword theme, applying exact and phrase match types, and setting up ad group-level negative keywords to prevent internal auction overlap. Ad copywriting - wrote Responsive Search Ads with 15 headlines and 4 descriptions, applying title case for headlines and sentence case for descriptions, and incorporating brand name, USPs, and call-to-action within character limits. Conversion setup - set up lead tracking via button click events and page load events, and mapped call assets with call reporting enabled to count calls above a minimum duration as conversions. Media planning basics - used Google Keyword Planner forecast tool to estimate impressions, clicks, CPL, ROAS and cost against a given budget and target impression share percentage.
