Local search started changing fast as AI Overviews and chat-based search began pulling attention away from the standard 10 blue links, and most agencies weren't touching it yet. Took on early Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) work alongside standard local SEO: implemented structured data and schema markup so client sites could actually be read and cited by AI systems. Focused on FAQ and entity optimization, restructuring content so answers were extractable instead of buried in paragraphs. Ran full local SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page, GBP) and turned them into prioritized fixes that clients could execute without a marketing degree. Helped clients start showing up in AI-generated answers, not just Google's local pack, back when very few in this space were doing that work.
