No. The customer must have valid IBM Guardium licences, appliance access and the necessary installation packages.
Can you implement Guardium in a production environment?
Yes, provided that the organisation authorises the work and provides an approved maintenance or change window.
Which databases and operating systems do you support?
Support depends on your Guardium version, database version and operating system. Please provide the complete environment details before ordering so compatibility can be confirmed.
Can you troubleshoot an S-TAP that is not sending traffic?
Yes. I can review S-TAP status, inspection engine configuration, database connectivity, firewall communication, K-TAP requirements and Guardium appliance settings.
Can you configure policies, alerts and reports?
Yes. I can configure database activity monitoring policies, privileged-user monitoring, alert rules, audit reports and scheduled reporting based on your requirements.
Do you support Central Manager and Aggregator configuration?
Yes. Central Manager, Aggregator, HA, DR and multi-collector environments are handled through a custom offer because the scope varies considerably.
Do you need administrator access?
Implementation normally requires temporary authorised access to the relevant Guardium appliances, database servers and operating systems. Least-privilege access should be used wherever possible.
Is documentation included?
Documentation is included in the Standard and Premium packages. Documentation for the Basic package can be added as a Gig extra.
Can you provide post-implementation support?
Yes. Additional troubleshooting, monitoring and post-implementation support can be purchased as a Gig extra or custom offer.
