In my role as an Automation Tester, I was responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD. I built scalable frameworks using the Page Object Model and managed project builds with Maven. I integrated automation with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, used Git and GitHub for version control and collaborated in Agile ceremonies to understand requirements and plan testing. I prepared and executed automated and manual test cases, tracked defects in tools such as JIRA, verified fixes, generated test reports and ensured quality throughout the software lifecycle. I also worked closely with cross-functional teams and supported junior testers to improve testing processes and deliver high-quality software.
