A developmental/structural edit is the first step in taking your first draft to the next level, and I'd love to be a part of your editing process! My services focus on some of the "big" areas of writing, including:

• Plot: Does your draft match your plot point by point?
• Pacing: Is your story too slow or too fast at certain points?
• Readability: Are any parts of your draft confusing? Are there any areas that snag your reader's attention in a bad way?
• Plot holes: Are there big or small gaps in your storytelling?
• Tone, character descriptions: Does your tone shift too much (especially during POV changes)? Are there lines of dialogue that don't feel natural to each speaker? Are there expressions or descriptions that unintentionally link characters?

As a published author myself, I am experienced in offering constructive feedback for your manuscript. My goal is to help you see just how your novel is landing with your future readers.

Note: I will not be able to help with anything related to academic material, including essays, short-answer questions, or scholarship/funding applications. Anything ordered relating to academic material will be cancelled. No exceptions.
