I love getting lost in a good story, and I'll read yours with the attention of a real reader while giving you useful feedback as a writer.
I'm a fiction writer with a Master of Humanities in Creative Writing and experience as an alpha, beta, and ARC reader.
As I read, I'll pay attention to:
- Where I'm hooked or my attention wanders
- Characters I connect with, dislike, distrust, or root for
- Predictions I make along the way
- Confusing or unclear moments
- Pacing and story flow
- Emotional reactions
- Whether reveals and major moments deliver
- My reaction to the ending
You'll receive a thoughtful, honest reader report. Word and Google Docs can also include inline reader reactions. PDFs receive a reader report only.
Your work stays private. I will not upload, submit, or share your manuscript with AI tools or use AI to evaluate or generate feedback. All reading and feedback is done by me.
This is beta reading, not proofreading or editing. I may point out something I notice, but my focus is your story and the reader experience.

What file formats do you accept?
I accept Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), Google Docs, and PDF. Word and Google Docs allow me to provide inline reader reactions. PDF orders receive the reader report without inline comments.
Will you proofread or edit my manuscript?
No. This is a beta-reading service focused on the reader experience, not proofreading or editing. I may point out an error if I happen to notice one, but I will not systematically check grammar, spelling, punctuation, or formatting.
Can I send you questions I want answered about my manuscript?
Absolutely. If you have specific concerns about characters, pacing, plot points, the ending, or anything else, send your questions with your manuscript and I’ll address them in my reader report.
Will you read unfinished manuscripts or individual chapters?
Yes. Your manuscript does not need to be a completed novel. I’m happy to beta read individual chapters, short stories, novellas, or works in progress within the word count you purchase.
What if my manuscript is longer than 50,000 words?
Choose the Premium package and add additional words to cover your manuscript’s total word count. If you’re unsure which option fits your manuscript, message me before ordering.
Will you post a review of my book on Goodreads or Amazon?
Public reviews are not included with this service. You are purchasing private beta-reader feedback on your manuscript, not a public review or rating.
