• Design new products from concept to production in SolidWorks, including enclosures, mounts, and brackets developed from customer briefs and reverse-engineered prototypes. • Produce full manufacturing drawing sets (flat patterns, formed parts, assemblies, and BOMs) ready to release to the shop floor. • Revise and maintain customer and in-house drawings under formal revision control and engineering change. • Review customer 3D models and drawings for quotation, flagging missing dimensions, tolerance, material, and finish issues before costing. • Set up part, BOM, and routing data in ERP systems for new-part introductions on an aerospace programme, and iterate designs with customers and production for the lowest-cost solution.

•Develop concepts into build-ready solutions: from sketches and visuals to complete fabrication packs (GA, detailed drawings, exploded views, and BOMs). •Produce technical drawings and structural layouts trough for health & safety/engineering sign-off; coordinate with fabricators to ensure feasibility and quality. •Translate creative briefs into manufacturable designs, running DFM/tolerance checks and maintaining revision control and drawing standards. •Specify materials and joining methods. •Prepare client sign-off packages and present design intent, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders. •Support on-site builds: issue mark-ups/as-built drawings; contribute to RAMS, installation sequencing, and snagging close-out. •Collaborate with Head of Projects and Senior Fabricators to optimise cost, lead time, and repeatability across projects.
