I will beta read your article, short story, novella, novel, or other writing and give you thorough, constructive feedback. I will look at structure, narrative sequence, voice, reader engagement, and word choice. Every review will be tailored to the person and project. You may attach specific questions if you like.
I have a Master's in Classical studies and have edited professionally for 8 years. I've worked as a communication specialist for major tech companies, so I know how to reach a wide variety of audiences. I will give you a professional experience and provide honest feedback.

What will I get when the order is complete?
I will send you a report with a summary assessment, structure assessment, narrative assessment, and style assessment. I will also send back your original document if there are any in-line comments.
Do you fix typos or grammar?
No. However, if the mistakes prevent me from understanding the text or are repeated enough, I may point them out. I also have a separate gig for proofreading. If you need both services, please contact me.
Do you give in-line commentary?
Yes. I sometimes will give in-line commentary to explain my thought process as I go. However, this is not a guarantee that I will give in-line comments.
What genres do you read?
I read across most genres, but my favorites are fantasy fiction and history.
Do you write Amazon reviews?
No.
