À propos de moi
Hi, I'm Laiba, a beta reader and developmental editor. I've been reading and analyzing stories for as long as I can remember, and have spent the past 2+ years working with 30+ authors.
I specialize in beta reading fantasy, science fiction, romance, and literary fiction, and developmental editing for fantasy and its subgenres.
I believe that stories give a new perspective to life, and I love helping authors strengthen the stories they want to share. If you'd like to discuss your manuscript, feel free to message me!

I've worked with 30+ authors to beta read fiction manuscripts, primarily in fantasy, literary fiction, science fiction, and romance. I provided detailed feedback on plot, pacing, character development, world building, and overall reader experience through inline comments and structured feedback reports. I worked directly with authors throughout the beta reading process, from discussing their goals and expectations for the manuscript to delivering detailed feedback and answering follow-up questions. I have independently found and worked with clients through platforms such as Goodreads, and several authors have returned to me for second projects.

Excellent Beta Reader. Is honest and not afraid to point out issues that should be pointed out. One of the best I've worked with!

Absolutely brilliant! One of the best beta readers I've ever used! I don't say this lightly, as I have used quite a few on this platform. Laiba covered everything I could've asked for and more (considering she also read the first book in the series before beta reading this one). Great constructive feedback...

She beta read the second draft of my first novel and her report was beyond insightful and eye opening to new tasks I need to tend to with my third draft. Her attention to detail and little things that matter were more than astonishing and very needed. I look forward to working with her in my future projects.
