Are you writing fantasy or sci-fi and not sure if your story is actually working?
I'll read your manuscript as a real reader and tell you what's landing, what's confusing, and where things start to fall apart.
I mostly work with speculative fiction, so I pay close attention to things like:
- worldbuilding (is it immersive or overwhelming?)
- character arcs (do they feel real or flat?)
- pacing (where does it drag or lose tension?)
What you'll get:
- honest reactions (no sugarcoating, but not harsh for no reason)
- clear suggestions you can actually use
- a structured report so you're not left guessing
I come at this as both a storyteller and a designer, so I look at how everything fits together, not just individual scenes.

What genres do you read?
I specialize in fiction, particularly fantasy, science fiction, and speculative fiction. I’m open to other genres as long as they’re fiction-focused, but I do not accept nonfiction, erotica, or horror-heavy works.
What kind of feedback will I receive?
You’ll get honest, constructive feedback on pacing, plot clarity, character arcs, world-building, and overall flow. Depending on the package, this may include inline comments, a summary report, and/or chapter-by-chapter notes.
Do you fix grammar or spelling errors?
Nope! I’m a beta reader, not a proofreader. I focus on story, structure, and reader experience—but I do offer a sample line edit as an extra if you’d like feedback on writing style or clarity.
Will you mark up my document directly?
For short works, I may leave inline comments or margin notes (PDF or Word), but most feedback is delivered as a separate document with my reactions and suggestions. Let me know what you prefer!
