I was working with NEPRO Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. as an Accounts & Tax Executive, where I handled day-to-day accounting, taxation, and bookkeeping operations for a manufacturing and trading business. My key responsibilities included: Maintaining complete books of accounts including vouchers, ledgers, and trial balance Recording and managing journal entries for salaries, accrued expenses, advances, and adjustments Handling payroll accounting for multiple departments (Factory, Admin & Sales, Godown & Distribution) Managing bank reconciliations and resolving unreconciled differences Preparing and reviewing Chart of Accounts (COA) for imports, cost of sales, and expenses Recording and analyzing import transactions, including: Clearing & forwarding charges Customs duty, excise duty, and other taxes Wharfage, D/O charges, and port expenses Maintaining inventory records and posting opening balances during system implementation Assisting in monthly and annual closing of accounts Supporting tax compliance and documentation (sales tax, income tax data preparation) Through this role, I have developed strong hands-on experience in practical accounting, bookkeeping systems, and real-world business finance operations, especially in a manufacturing and import-based environment.
