After 4 years as a full-stack developer, I realized that websites aren’t truly complete unless they are accessible to all the users. That’s when I transitioned into accessibility testing, and I’ve been helping make web apps usable and inclusive for the past 3 years using real user-focused testing methods. I work as a full-time freelance Accessibility Tester, helping people and businesses ensure their websites and web applications are usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. I focus on identifying real accessibility issues and providing clear, actionable recommendations that can be implemented on website to make them accessible. I conduct accessibility audits based on WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 (Level A & AA) using a combination of automated and manual testing. I perform: - Screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS - as applicable) - Keyboard accessibility testing - Color contrast evaluation - Semantic & Accessible Markup checks I deliver well-structured accessibility audit reports with clear issue descriptions, WCAG references, impact explanation, and clear fix recommendations. I don’t just report accessibility issues — as a front-end developer, I also help implement the fixes so everything works as expected for real users.
