FAQ
What dimensions are included for the Steam capsule art?
The core package includes the Main Capsule (460x215 px), Header Capsule (920x430 px), and Small Capsule (231x87 px). Full suites also cover Hero (374x448 px) and Library assets (600x900 px).
What do I need to supply to begin the Steam capsule art design?
You will need to provide your game name, logo (if available), character renders or high-res screenshots, genre details, and any visual reference images you like.
What is a PSD source file, and why do I need it?
A PSD source file is an editable Photoshop file with separate layers for logo, characters, and backgrounds. It allows you to make text updates or pull assets for future promotional campaigns.
How do revisions work for Steam capsule art?
Revisions allow adjustments to color grading, lighting, text positioning, and composition tweaking. Redesigning an entirely new key art concept from scratch is not covered under revisions.
Can you make capsule art if I do not have a finished game logo?
Yes. I can create custom title typography or a full game logo to integrate directly into your Steam capsule art.
Are the final files formatted for direct Steamworks upload?
Yes. All exported PNG and JPG files strictly follow Valve’s official Steamworks graphical asset guidelines for dimensions and aspect ratios.
Do you provide 3D mockups of the final capsule art?
Yes. Every package includes a realistic 3D Steam store mockup so you can test how your capsule looks in a live Steam environment.
What makes Steam capsule art high-converting?
High-converting capsule art uses strong focal points, bold title fonts, high color contrast, and clean layout rules so the game stands out at tiny thumbnail resolutions.
Can you adapt this art for Epic Games Store or GOG?
Yes. I can reformat your completed Steam capsule art into custom banner sizes for Epic Games Store, GOG, itch.io, or console storefronts upon request.
What is the turnaround time for a complete capsule package?
Standard delivery takes 2 to 5 days depending on the package tier. Rush delivery options are available if you have an upcoming trailer drop or press release.
