FAQ
What details do I need to provide to start the design process?
To get started, I will need your book title, subtitle, author name, book size (e.g., 6x9), exact page count, and the printing platform you are using (like KDP or Ingram Spark). If you have specific imagery or themes in mind, feel free to share those as well!
Do I receive a fully editable Canva template?
Yes! Regardless of the package you choose, you will receive a shared Canva source link. This allows you to access, edit, change text, or modify elements of your book cover template directly inside your own Canva account anytime you want
Can you design for hardback dust jackets and paperbacks?
Absolutely. I specialize in premium hardcover design, which includes the full wrap layout (front, back, spine, and flaps for a dust jacket). I can also adapt the layout to paperback or eBook formats depending on your publishing needs.
Are the final files print ready for KDP and Ingram Spark?
Yes. For print packages, I provide a high resolution, print ready PDF generated exactly to your printer's specifications. This ensures your spine layout, margins, and bleed settings are 100% correct so your book gets approved without delays.
What if my page count or book size changes later?
Because the final deliverable is an editable Canva book cover, adjusting the spine size for a new page count is very simple. If you need help making those precise adjustments down the line, you can always reach out, and I'll be happy to assist.
