Built a production RAG chatbot for a finance and consulting client using
Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search and Azure Document Intelligence. The system
ingests internal policy documents and knowledge base content, then answers
staff queries accurately in real time.
Deployed to Azure Container Apps with managed identity authentication
no API keys in code at any point. Configured Azure AI Search with custom

Which Azure OpenAI models do you use?
GPT-4o and GPT-4o-mini for chat and reasoning, text-embedding-3-large for vector embeddings, Whisper for audio transcription and DALL-E 3 for image generation where needed. Model selection depends on your cost, quality and latency requirements — we advise on this before you order.
Can you build a RAG chatbot using our internal SharePoint or PDF documents?
Yes — Azure Document Intelligence handles PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, images and SharePoint integration. The Azure RAG Build package covers full document ingestion, chunking, embedding, indexing and retrieval end to end.
Is this GDPR compliant? Will our data be sent to OpenAI?
With Azure OpenAI (not the OpenAI API directly), your data stays within your Azure tenant in EU regions. Microsoft's data processing agreement for Azure OpenAI explicitly covers GDPR. Your data is not used for model training. This is the critical distinction for European clients.
Can you deploy this so non-technical staff can use it — not just via API?
Yes. We add a Streamlit or React frontend deployed to Azure Container Apps, giving your team a browser-based chat interface with no code required. Mention this when you message us and we include it in the scope confirmation.
We already have Azure infrastructure. Can you work within our existing environment?
Yes — we prefer it. Working in your existing Azure subscription means the deployment stays in your control from day one. We request Contributor access on a specific resource group only, not subscription-wide.
