As a Product Development Engineer, I was responsible for developing new products from concept through production. My role included creating and modifying product designs using CAD software, preparing engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM), coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting prototype development and testing. I worked closely with manufacturing to ensure products were optimized for quality, cost, and manufacturability. I also conducted root cause analysis, implemented design improvements, managed engineering change requests (ECR/ECO), and ensured compliance with customer requirements and industry standards while meeting project timelines.
