Currently serving as Anticipatory Action and Disaster Risk Financing Officer at Support Help Solutions (SHS), providing technical and consultancy support on disaster preparedness, climate resilience, anticipatory action, and disaster risk financing initiatives. My responsibilities include conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, developing technical proposals, project concepts, consultancy proposals, and technical reports, and supporting the design of disaster risk financing and anticipatory action mechanisms. I have developed technical proposals for the preparation of Village Disaster Risk Management Plans (VDRMPs), Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction (CBDRR) training manuals, anticipatory action plans for floods and heatwaves, and women-led disaster risk financing and anticipatory action initiatives.
