Documentary Video Editor

Oct 2025 - Present • 1 yr

I’m a Video Editor specializing in documentary-style and cinematic explainer videos, with a focus on history, geopolitics, economics, technology, and storytelling-driven content. I combine After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, motion graphics, maps, archival footage, typography, AI-generated visuals, transitions, and sound design to turn complex ideas into engaging visual stories. My editing style focuses on strong pacing, cinematic visuals, creative storytelling, and attention to detail—not just putting clips together. I aim to make every video feel like a professionally produced mini-documentary while keeping the story clear and engaging. I can help with: • Documentary & explainer videos • YouTube videos & shorts • History, geopolitics & economics content • Motion graphics & map animations • AI-assisted visual storytelling • Social media reels • Cinematic video editing • Sound design, transitions & pacing
