As an MIS Executive at Micromax Ltd., I was responsible for managing and analyzing large volumes of operational and sales data to support business decision-making. My role involved collecting data from multiple departments, validating its accuracy, and transforming raw information into meaningful reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI. I developed and maintained interactive dashboards to monitor sales performance, inventory movement, distributor performance, and key business KPIs. I regularly prepared daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for senior management, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Using advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, IF statements, conditional formatting, and data validation, I automated reporting processes and significantly reduced manual effort. I utilized Power Query to clean, merge, and transform data from multiple sources, improving data consistency and reducing processing time. Additionally, I designed Power BI dashboards with interactive visualizations, charts, slicers, and KPI metrics that enabled stakeholders to track business performance and make data-driven decisions. My responsibilities also included data cleaning, reconciliation, report automation, performance analysis, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of business data. I collaborated closely with sales, finance, operations, and management teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver customized analytical solutions that improved operational efficiency and supported strategic planning. Through this role, I strengthened my expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, dashboard development, reporting automation, and spreadsheet optimization while consistently delivering accurate, high-quality insights to support organizational growth.
