Designing billboards and banners taught me to think differently about space. A billboard only gets a few seconds of someone's attention, so I learned to cut every design down to one clear message and one strong image. Retractable and roll up banners were a different challenge since they get viewed up close, so I had to balance the same clarity with more detail. This work pushed me to design for different distances and different attention spans at the same time. I got better at choosing what to leave out, which turned out to be just as important as what I put in.
